Inner Pressure marks a new step for Backrooms. Built around pure conceptual intent, it develops a focused spectrum of tension unified by a single force: pressure as propulsion. Not something to escape, but something to endure and transform. Each track channels relentless work, expectation, and sleepless persistence into forward motion, into elevation and growth.

The EP takes shape within Level 11 of the Backrooms, “The City That Never Sleeps.” An endless urban grid under artificial light, suspended in perpetual activity. The setting mirrors the record’s core idea: discipline and repetition that do not break the individual, but refine them. Here, pressure becomes structure. Compression becomes ascent.

The release is the result of a precise alignment between Marbøx and Backrooms. A shared framework allowed the artist to remain fully within his sonic language, physical, driven, architecturally tight, while reinforcing the label’s conceptual direction. Visually, the sleepless city becomes the perfect symbol of this convergence: rigid yet expanding, oppressive yet generative, a space where tension does not suffocate but forges strength.
